Autonomy, mastery, purpose: Dan Pink’s thoughts on motivation

This following video is of Dan Pink’s TED talk about motivation. At its essence, Dan’s argument is that external incentives actually degrade performance on right-brain tasks, while intrinsic motivation yields increase performance.

I am still formulating thoughts around Dan’s ideas, but I wanted to post this as a sort of bookmark for myself.
